The atomic bomb will always be a subject I will have mixed feeling about. The United States is supposed to be a country that is based on morals, and does dropping the bomb go completely against what we believe to be true? I get why we did it, it was said that as much as 250,000 Americans could have died if the US would have invaded Japan. With the Atomic Bomb, no Americans had to die. Is it better that 250,000 Japanese people die than our own beloved country? So in the end, I do favor the dropping of the bomb. The US faced years of fighting and many lives were to be lost if they invaded Japan, by dropping the bombs, they save many soldiers from dying.
